Hotel Information

Our host hotel is the Renaissance Hollywood ...it's beautiful, it's swanky, it occasionally has stars appearing at completely random times (hello Jon Voight!), but it's not the cheapest hotel in Hollywood, so some of you guys are going to want to share rooms. Our room rate will be $189/night plus tax. There is no surcharge to triple- and quad- up and I've already asked them to put plenty of rooms with 2 double beds in our block. Reservations must be made by the 26th of April to qualify for the room block rate.

We recommend that you guys talk to each other before you start booking flights and rooms, because the Renaissance has a strict check-in policy--the person who is paying for the room must be the first to check in, even if everyone else's name is also on the reservation. This resulted in a few lobby orphans two years ago -- they'll hold your luggage, or your fellow 'lagers are usually pretty good about adopting temporarily roomless friends, but it's always easier to plan around it!

You can book at the hotel's website Marriot.com or call one of the above numbers. When booking online, the group event code should be auto-filled in when you follow the link. Rooms need to be booked by April 26^th to receive our special block rate. The earlier you make your reservation, the better chance you will have of getting the room you want. Book early to ensure that you can be in the middle of everything at our host hotel! Suites can be booked at an additional yet reasonable rate (subject to availability). If you've already booked a room at a higher rate by phone or via the Marriott website, let us know as soon as possible and we'll make sure you get the lower rate.
