[At my first fan party] I walked in without knowing one single person. I'd talked to a few people on line at the fuse for a few months, but I walked in solo and more than a little self conscious about whether I'd fit in or not. With in the first hour, I realize I needn't have worried. I couldn't possibly have been better prepared for the warm reception [that] I received.
